Processing of personal data for marketing purposes

If you received a message from us with an invitation to an educational or other event organized by our company or a regular newsletter or other business communication, it happened because, based on our previous cooperation, we believe that the offer might be of interest to you. In this context, we process some of your personal data. The following information will explain to you what personal data we process, how and why we can do so. You will then find out what rights you have in this context, i.e. what you can demand from us and who you can turn to with your suggestions and any complaints. We therefore ask you to read the following text carefully.

What personal data do we process about you in connection with sending offers and for what reason?

For the purposes of sending invitations to educational and other events organized by AI, as well as sending our newsletter, we process personal data about you in the scope of your name, surname, title, function or job title, e-mail address, telephone number and employer's address.

We process your personal data for the purpose of presenting our company's range of activities and addressing potential participants in educational and other events organized by our company.

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data for the above-mentioned purposes is the legitimate interest of AI in promoting the company and addressing potential interested parties and participants in events organized or offered by the company.

To whom can we provide your personal data?

We primarily manage your personal data within our AI system. In some cases, we may use external suppliers, which may result in your data being transferred to these suppliers for further processing purposes. These external suppliers act as data processors and are bound by written agreements with us, obligating them to adhere to strict data handling policies. Rest assured, we select our suppliers based on strict criteria, so you do not need to worry about the security of your data.
We do not transfer your personal data abroad.

In What Form Are Your Personal Data Processed?
We process your data exclusively in electronic form. Processing may involve profiling to send you offers tailored to your preferences, based on information from previous interactions.

How Long Do We Retain Your Personal Data?
We retain your personal data for a period of 2 years.

What Are Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data?
As a data subject, you are granted the following rights under the legal framework concerning your personal data:
 

  1. Right of Access to Personal Data
    You have the right to know which personal data we process, how, why, and for how long, where we obtained the data, and whether and to whom it is disclosed. You are also entitled to information about other related rights. This document serves to inform you, but we are ready to provide confirmation or clarification on any of its points.

    Upon request, we will provide a copy of your personal data without undue delay. We may charge a reasonable fee for repeated requests to cover administrative costs. If you make the request electronically, we will assume you prefer to receive the information electronically unless you specify otherwise. Note that obtaining a copy of your personal data must not adversely affect the rights of others.
     

  2. Right to Rectification
    If you discover that the personal data we process about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request that we correct or complete them without undue delay.
     

  3. Right to Restriction of Processing
    In certain cases, you can request that specific personal data be marked and no longer processed for a specified period. This is not the same as the right to erasure, as the restriction is temporary.
    You have the right to request rthe estriction of processing if:

    • You dispute the accuracy of the data, allowing us time to verify them.

    • Processing is without a legal basis, but you prefer restriction over deletion (e.g., you may need the data later).

    • We no longer need the data, but you require them for legal claims.

    • You object to the processing (see below).

    Restricted data may only be processed with your consent or for legal claims, to protect another person's rights, or for significant public interest.
     

  4. Right to Object to Processing
    You can object at any time to the processing of your personal data for purposes such as sending event invitations or newsletters. If you do so, we will immediately cease processing your data for these purposes.
     

  5. Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority
    Exercising your rights does not affect your ability to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ) at Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, Czech Republic (www.uoou.cz). You may file a complaint if you suspect that your personal data are being processed unlawfully or contrary to legal regulations.
     

  6. Right to Erasure
    In some cases, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. We generally delete personal data when we no longer need them and lack a legal reason for processing.
     

How to Exercise Your Rights
For any matters related to your personal data, including inquiries, rights requests, complaints, or other issues, you may contact our Data Protection Officer via:

We will process your request without undue delay, typically within one month. In exceptional cases, particularly for complex requests, we may extend this period by two additional months, informing you of the reasons for the extension.
